We found Sean and his staff excellent to deal with in all respects, prepared to discuss all aspects with us at any time. Tom the Foreman of our build was happy to answer our, sometimes unnecessary, questions always with good humour and he had a lot of difficult construction details which were not specified to solve. This he never failed to do. All the staff seemed pleased to be working on what was a very difficult steep hillside job, and they obviously take great pride in their work. The quality of the build is excellent and has been remarked upon by all of the 70+ people who have visited us to inspect and pass judgement during the 3 months or so since we have been in residence. Any small things that needed correcting have been done and further after-build service has been promised.

“Roz and I selected Sean and his team to carry out a rebuild of our hillside home following the February 2011 earthquake. From the outset we were impressed with both the management of the project and the construction standards achieved. Ours was a difficult site and, given that this was an extremely stressful time for us, it was gratifying that we were able to move into our new home in June 2012 just 7 months after construction commenced. This was, in no small part, due to the skill and co-operation provided by Sean’s project manager, Tom. Tom was a delight to work with and it is pleasing to hear that he is still part of the organisation. It was also reassuring to know that Sean was there in the background and always made himself available promptly when a client query arose.

In my capacity as commercial property owner, I had Construction Unlimited carry out fitouts on a 6-story office building in the city, renovate blocks of flats including bathroom and kitchen upgrades and replace windows with double-glazing in a block of flats.

In a private capacity I had Sean completely remodel my holiday home in the Marlborough Sounds which was a project that spanned over a period of 4 years .
